I’m a pianist, composer, and producer, and the instructor behind Lovely Piano Lessons. I hold a BA in Piano Performance from Berklee College of Music and have extensive experience performing, composing, and collaborating across a wide range of musical settings.

My work spans classical, jazz, pop, gospel, R&B, film and game music, and contemporary styles. I’ve been teaching piano for over 15 years, working with both children and adults.

My teaching focuses on building strong musical foundations, including technique, rhythm, coordination, musical understanding, and expressive playing. Students develop real musicianship, not just the ability to play notes.

A consistent pattern I see is that many students come from previous lessons with gaps in technique or coordination, which limits their ability to progress. A large part of my work involves helping students rebuild that foundation so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Lessons are structured but supportive, allowing students to progress at a steady pace while developing independence at the piano. Students learn how rhythm, phrasing, harmony, melody, and stylistic approach work together so they can play music appropriately for each style, rather than playing everything the same way.
