Nice to meet you! My name is Isha Love, your new piano teacher. 

I have a BA from Berklee College of Music in Piano Performance. I have experience playing all styles of music with numerous musicians in many sessions and shows. 

I have taught piano for 15 years. I can play and teach any genre of music, including pop, jazz, gospel, R&B, world music and classical. 

For older beginners, I use the Alfred method and younger ones, My First Piano Adventure. For advanced pianists, I use different methods depending on the skill levels and the style of music each one wants to learn. I am open to using any other methods or suggestions. You also can simply bring any song of your choice. 

For more advanced students, I can help with reading scores, lead sheets, or charts, or with transcribing piano parts from recordings. I can also teach to rearrange parts into solo piano pieces or make up piano parts to fit into the band settings.

I am easygoing and friendly. I believe studying in a stress-free environment with lots of affirmations and encouragement can push people to perform at the best of their abilities. Piano lessons can be fun and easy!
